The Bielefeld leather manufacturer wins the coveted Life & Living Award 2024

Every year, the German Institute for Service Quality, together with the news channel ntv, selects Germany's most popular providers of products and services for the home, house and garden. This year, the prestigious award in the "Pet Accessories" category went to HUNTER.

The Life & Living Award from the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) is aimed directly at consumers in Germany, who rate brands according to satisfaction and fulfilment of customer requirements. "We are overjoyed to receive this award. Consumers have rewarded our outstanding service quality, wide range of products and first-class product quality," says HUNTER's Head of Marketing Diana Schuhmacher, who accepted the award in person in Berlin. "A huge thank you goes to our fantastic team. Every day we work together to understand and fulfil the needs of our customers. It is only thanks to the united commitment of the HUNTER crew that we can offer this unique quality in our leather factory in Bielefeld, which our customers appreciate and love," Schuhmacher continued.

Over 56,000 consumers have voted
The Life & Living Award 2024 is based on a population-representative survey of over 56,000 customers. In addition to overall satisfaction with the brand or company, trust, value for money, range of products, customer service, image and product quality are all taken into account in the assessment. Customer loyalty, i.e. the willingness to choose this product again, and recommendation to others also influence the overall result. A total of 693 companies and brands were assessed.

High satisfaction and customer loyalty in the industry
The final evaluation of the Life & Living Awards 2024 included 598 companies and brands that achieved at least 80 customer votes. In addition to HUNTER, the award winners included well-known brands such as Dyson (category "Household robots"), Bose (category "Audio technology"), Villeroy & Boch (category "Porcelain") and Rolf Benz (category "Upholstered furniture").  "Overall, the sectors assessed are in a good position from a consumer perspective," explains Markus Hamer, Managing Director of the German Institute for Service Quality. "Over 89 per cent of those surveyed would choose the respective provider or brand again in the future."
