Key Measures and Achievements at a Glance
- Installation of a New Photovoltaic System
To make our energy supply more sustainable, we installed a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system on the roof of our company building. This system generates approximately 240,000 kWh of environmentally friendly electricity per year and significantly helps reduce our CO₂ emissions. By using renewable energy sources, we make an important contribution to climate protection and strengthen our independence from fossil fuels. - Conversion of Company Vehicles to Electric Drive
Our vehicle fleet at the Bielefeld site has been almost entirely converted to electric vehicles. This greatly reduces CO₂ emissions in the area of mobility. Additionally, we have expanded the charging infrastructure on our premises to ensure sustainable use. This measure not only contributes to environmental protection but also promotes the acceptance of sustainable mobility among our employees. - Option for Mobile Working
To minimize commuter traffic and increase employee flexibility, we offer the option of mobile working. Employees can work from home, which reduces road traffic and thus lowers CO₂ emissions. This measure also supports work-life balance and contributes to a positive corporate culture. - Waste Separation and Recycling
We have optimized our waste management processes to ensure consistent waste separation. Through training and clear labeling, we promote awareness among our employees about recycling and waste prevention. The goal is to minimize the amount of non-recycled waste and to use resources efficiently.
Environmental Performance 2024 – Achievements at a Glance
Thanks to these measures, we were able to save a total of 38 tons of CO₂ compared to 2023. This represents a significant contribution to climate protection and shows that we are on the right track to achieving our sustainability goals.
