HUNTER reprocesses discarded company flags into stylish shoulder bags.

Keeping functional products in the cycle as long as possible - this idea of sustainability has always played an important role at the pet supplies manufacturer HUNTER. But even materials that have become obsolete in their original function are given a second chance at HUNTER: this is also the case with three company flags, which were lovingly handmade into 35 shoulder bags.

For about a year, the three »HUNTER. FEEL LOVED!« flags flew at the company's headquarters in Bielefeld to show customers and suppliers from afar where the heart of the company beats. The fact that they have served faithfully in wind and weather should nevertheless not mean the end of their life cycle: Taking the company philosophy into account, HUNTER decided to recycle the disused flags in a sensible way.

»In addition to quality and innovation, sustainability has always been the driving force behind our daily actions. We thought: Why shouldn't what applies to our Second Love articles also be possible for other materials?«, says HUNTER Managing Director Nadine Trautwein. Without further ado, after careful cleaning, the discarded flags were processed into stylish shoulder bags in the company's own manufactory. 35 of them - lovingly handmade - in the colours light blue, green and pink will now be sold in the HUNTER shop in Bielefeld.
