HUNTER supports the SEELENFREUNDE project

The HUNTER company, which has been run for 15 years by the second generation of the founder's daughter, Nadine Trautwein, is a household name among dog lovers worldwide. In the manufactory in the heart of Bielefeld, exclusive accessories for man's best friend are handcrafted with loving attention to detail from the finest premium leathers.

Entrepreneur and mother of two Nadine Trautwein knows only too well how challenging it can be as a woman to master the balancing act between vocation, family and her own needs, especially in the current times. The Inner Wheel Club Detmold-Blomberg's benefit event "Pretty in Pink" addressed precisely this discrepancy and highlighted it from various perspectives by different speakers, such as Kay-Sölve Richter and Anette Gebauer. The beneficiary was the SEELENFREUNDE project of the AWO Frauenhaus Lippe.

Violence against women is an ever-growing problem. The pandemic has also brought the women's shelter to its limits. Funding is provided for measures that directly benefit the women and children in the facility, for example by setting up a snoozle room to relax, feel and let go, as well as in the form of measures to deal with trauma and therapy options.

Since this topic is also very close to Nadine Trautwein's heart, she was keen to support the event by selling the exclusive and colourful handbags from the HUNTER leather manufactory. The proceeds from the sale of the bags were passed on one-to-one to the SEELENFREUNDE project and the donation amount was rounded up to 1,000 €. Together with her team, the committed Detmold woman would like to continue supporting valuable social initiatives in the future.
