HUNTER once again donates to projects close to our hearts

A total of 5,000 euros will go to charitable organisations that help children in Africa and people with disabilities at Christmas. HUNTER International is continuing its social commitment this year and supporting the projects Leben und Lernen in Kenia e.V. (LLK) and Vita Assistenzhunde e.V. with a Christmas donation of 2500 euros each.

Already 30 sponsorships for children in Kenya

HUNTER International has been closely associated with LLK since 2017 and is currently funding nine sponsorships for children in Kenya. In addition, employees and their relatives have initiated further sponsorships, meaning that a total of around 30 children are supported by HUNTER. The construction of a solar-powered well in 2022 was also an important milestone in this partnership. HUNTER Managing Director Nadine Trautwein travels to Kenya at least once a year to meet the aid team in person and visit the children in the Ronda slums of Nakuru - 160 kilometres north-west of Nairobi.

‘Supporting LLK is very important to us,’ emphasises Nadine Trautwein, Managing Director of HUNTER and initiator of the sponsorship. ‘With our donations, we are giving the children in Kenya a better future and helping to improve their living conditions in the long term.’

Commitment to people with disabilities

We have also been working with Vita Assistance Dogs for many years. HUNTER International appreciates the important work that the organisation does to enable people with disabilities to lead a more independent life with specially trained assistance dogs.

‘We are delighted to receive another donation from HUNTER International,’ says the organisation's founder and Chairwoman Tatjana Kreidler. ‘With this support, we can continue to help more people live together with an assistance dog.’ As Vita does not receive any public funding, the organisation relies on donations.
