HUNTER NewsBook 2023/24
This year was a very special one for us, because our company founder and visionary Rolf Trautwein celebrated his 80th birthday. A nice reason to celebrate him and remember the beginnings of HUNTER, when the trained master saddler travelled all over Germany in a van, bought used machines and looked for skilled employees to start his own leather manufactory.
Over 42 years later, we can still count on Rolf Trautwein's expertise. At HUNTER, traditional craftsmanship and unrivalled know-how meet innovative ideas and the goal of giving only the best back to man's best friend. We implement this vision by continuing to focus on first-class quality without compromise, but also by consistently working towards becoming more and more sustainable, step by step, and to operate climate-neutrally at the entire site in Bielefeld by the year 2030. And all this at fair prices and margins that you, as our partner, will be happy to participate in.

The new MÜNCHEN series from the HUNTER leather manufactory is an excellent choice for anyone who values sustainability and social responsibility. The strikingly soft and supple cowhide leather used here is manufactured in compliance with the highest ecological standards and is guaranteed to be free of harmful substances such as chrome. The noble trimmings will not only enchant traditional costume lovers. The SOHO MINI series is also made from the same particularly sustainably produced leather. With these accessories for small dogs and puppies, even the tiniest best friends will make it big! The particularly delicate and lightly crafted items handmade in Bielefeld impress with the careful workmanship typical of HUNTER and beautiful colours.
The RIGA dog bathrobe is an absolute must-have for all dogs with long coats or strong undercoats. And even short-haired four-legged friends, who don't need long to dry but get cold quickly when they are soaked, won't want to miss this practical everyday helper. Because the light material of the bathrobe is extremely absorbent, it supports faster drying of the dog's fur and protects against chilling. Whether after a rainy walk, a trip to the lake or a bath at home - the RIGA dog bathrobe also protects the car, furnishings and people from the drops of water and mud that are so quickly spread by extensive shaking, because the dog's neck and back as well as chest and belly are wrapped in the soft terry fabric.
Numerous functional and cosy sleeping places herald the cosy season.
