HUNTER Group strengthens its management team

Jan Oßenbrink, the long-standing external consultant of the Bielefeld leather manufacturer, will come on board on 1 January 2025. The HUNTER Group is pleased to announce that Jan Oßenbrink will be joining the company as Managing Director from 1 January 2025. Together with Nadine Trautwein, he will form the dual leadership of the HUNTER Group.

Jan Oßenbrink brings with him extensive experience as a successful entrepreneur and founder. His expertise covers areas such as strategy, marketing, sales, organisational development, the development and establishment of new business models and the further development of corporate culture. Most recently, he successfully established and sold the company ‘Eigenland’ and previously worked for the Maschmeyer Group. ‘I have known Jan for many years now and, in addition to his diverse experience and his many skills, I particularly appreciate our shared understanding of culture, his enjoyment of and curiosity about new business areas and business models, his determination and his passion for performance. And what unites us above all: The love for the HUNTER brand and the people who make up this brand,’ explains Nadine Trautwein, Managing Partner of the HUNTER Group.

Strong dual leadership for innovation and new impetus

With his holistic approach and his experience in medium-sized family businesses as well as his many years on the advisory board and as a lecturer in the field of change and transformation, Jan Oßenbrink will bring new impetus to the HUNTER Group.

‘I made a conscious decision in favour of the HUNTER Group and the collaboration with Nadine and the team because we are rocking the market with a strong brand in an attractive and highly competitive market and at the same time still have a lot planned. I am particularly excited about tackling this task with an outstanding team and celebrating success together at full throttle.’

The dual leadership with Trautwein and Oßenbrink will continue to drive the successful development of the HUNTER Group and open up new business areas. ‘The needs of our customers & partners and, in particular, the people who make up this brand will continue to take centre stage.’

HUNTER continues to expand

HUNTER still sees a wide range of growth opportunities with the HUNTER brand. In addition, the company Stylecats was acquired last year in order to further expand the portfolio of the classic dog brand for cat lovers as well. ‘Our continuous development, the increasingly complex areas of responsibility, our demand for ever faster reaction times and the goal of anticipatory strategies and decision-making processes have led to the decision to strengthen the management team. This will enable us to make even better use of the many opportunities that present themselves to us,’ adds Nadine Trautwein.
