8th AOK company run - HUNTER team grabs a trophy

»Arriving is the goal» - this was the motto of the big company run of the city of Bielefeld, which took place for the eighth time on 17 August after a break due to the pandemic and attracted 754 runners from 72 companies as well as numerous spectators. It was clear months ago that HUNTER would be there, no question about it! With a team of ten and »HUNTER #läuft« shirts specially designed for the event, we set off at 7 pm sharp. The attractive five-kilometre circuit led twice through the middle of the busy old town of Bielefeld and allowed colleagues, friends and family members to loudly support and motivate the diverse team to achieve their best performance. With a second place in the overall men's ranking, HUNTER was even assured a trophy in the end. A highlight and full success for the good-humoured team, which was then toasted together with cold drinks.

In order to do justice to its great responsibility as a medium-sized company and to set a good example, HUNTER completely offset the proportionate CO₂ emissions of the company run. According to information from the organiser, the CO₂ compensation fees from all the company runs taking place this year (Bielefeld, Herford, Möhnesee and Meschede) will be collected, generously rounded up and invested in a photovoltaic system for a kindergarten in the district of Soest.
