For every need and every taste HUNTER offers the right leather:
Soft Genuine Cows Leather: specially tanned, dyed right through, oiled, soft and supple, resistant to damp.
Pale Leather: natural leather, greased, tanned with vegetable substances, non-toxic, environmentally friendly.
Harness Leather: tanned with vegetable substances, hand-greased and therefore very time-consuming to produce, the leather edges of the products are completely rounded.
Organic Leather: gentle tanning process with vegetable substances, bright, expressive colours.
Elk Leather: extremely soft, superlative comfort, one of the most special leathers in the world.
Cow Nappa Leather: soft and supple, bright, expressive colours.
Faux Leather: very soft and light, colourful, wipeable, robust, especially suitable for small dogs. |

The hand seam is the safest seam for dog and horse articles, which are exposed to intense strain. This special seam is sewn by hand - stitch by stitch – with two needles, making two separate seams, independent from each other. This means double safety for you and your four-legged friend. These products are particularly suitable for large dogs which pull strongly on the leash. |

The parts of collars and leashes which are subject to very intense strain are reinforced with
synthetic and textile tape to increase the strength without affecting the softness of the products.
A good example of the safety awareness of the HUNTER company is the car safety harness restraint systems BodyGuard which were tested by the official Vehicle Safety & Inspection Department.
If you consider that, in a collision, the impact of a dog thrown through the vehicle is thirty times its weight, then it becomes quite clear that an effective safety restraining system for dogs in automobiles is absolutely necessary. That’s why all BODYGUARD automobile safety harness restraint systems have undergone a complete range of crash safety tests at the Rhineland Vehicle Safety & Inspection department. All harnesses inspected have passed the demanding tests with flying colours, and been awarded the Certificate of Product Safety. |

All metal parts such as rings which are subject to tension are welded. Gold coloured motifs are mostly 18 carat gold-plated. |

Almost all collars and most of the leashes are lined with soft nappa leather, which makes them especially kind to the coat. In almost all lined collars we take the trouble to sew in the D-rings between the top and bottom material. The extra advantage is the smooth surface on the inside. So all the articles produced in this way offer the highest possible degree of comfort. |
